Can I pay on a credit/debit card?

No unfortunately not. Cash or bank transfer is fine though.

Why do you need my address when I hire a bike?

We only take this as a security measure or so that we can contacr you in case leave an item at our site.  We do not pass it on to third parties.

Do you offer any discounts?

We do offer discounts for long term bookings, for charity rides and for large groups. 


Can you fit a babyseat/buggy/Trail-a-Bike to my bike?

It is possible in certain circumstances to fit buggies or trail-a-bikes to your own bike, however we are unable to fit babyseats to your own bike since they are attached to our bikes permanently.

Can I fit my babyseat/buggy/trail-a-bike to your bike?

We are not able to fit your own kit to our cycles for health and safety reasons. 

Do you have bikes with stabilisers?

We don't have any bikes with stabilisers.  Our routes aren't suitable for these bikes. We do hire out Trail-a-Bikes which are single wheel bikes towed by an adult rider.

Group visits

I'm interested in bringing a large group to you.  How many bikes can you hire out at a time?

We are happy to cater for large parties. We have 40 adult bikes available in a variety of sizes. Please contact the centre you wish to visit to discuss your requirements and we will be able to advise you further.

I want to bring a group to you, do we have to pay on the day or can you invoice us?

We are happy to invoice groups from organisations such as schools, youth groups and scouts and guides.  Please make sure you bring a proof of address – a headed letter is ideal.


Are you open all year?

We are open nearly all year. Times that we are closed will be posted on the website in advance..

Do you have maps of the trail?

We have maps with photos available at our site.

Do you deliver bikes?

We are able to offer a delivery and pickup service. We will require additional security checks for this service of a picture ID and credit card details..

Can I do a one-way hire?

With prior arrangement we can offer this service. Please contact us with your requirements.

What happens if I am late returning my bike?

We hope that you will return your cycles to us on time, however if something should happen then please contact us to let us know when you are expecting to arrive or whether you need picking up.

Do I have to wear a helmet?

Helmets are available free of charge to everyone  and we strongly recommend that everybody wears one, however the final choice is up to you. We have a variety of sizes available from toddler up to large adult. 

What should I wear?

We would recommend you wear comfortable clothing that you woulnt mind getting a bit of mud on should the weather turn whilst out riding. Waterproofs would also be advisable if it looks like it might rain. .

Do you charge for car parking?

No, there is free on-site parking

Can I get there by public transport?

It is possible to reach us by public transport, however it can be limited at times and in some locations. We would advise contacting us first for the best methods.

What happens if I damage my bike?

Depending on the level of damage sustained to the bicycle, we will charge you for the cost of repairs.

Can you tell me about when you sell your bikes?

We sell all our bikes at the end of the year. If you are interested then let us know and we'll keep your name on record and contact you when they become available.
All of our cycles are fully serviced and cleaned regularly to keep them in the best condition. They would be given a final checkover before being sold on. Please see our bikes page for more information.

Do you repair cycles?

We do,, and can offer a full repair service on any bike. We can even pick your bike up from your home. Please see our repairs page for more information
